About restore79
restore79 is a digital health platform with two aims:
- to improve the patient and caregiver understanding of dystrophies
- to predict the impact of "add-on" therapies
Below, we exapand on our goals, who we are, how we are organized, and our model for developing tools to meet our goals.
Mission Statement
To connect patients and caregivers to dystrophin-related muscular dystrophies literature and resources using visualizations driven by an automatically curated knowledge graph.
Resore79 is an information resource for dystrophin-related muscular dystrophies with a focus on . Fundraising fulfills two areas: business operations and funding therapeutic initiatives.

Our Model
Diving into a new reasearch area is overwhelming. To enable faster and more efficient literature review, we have developed a model that automatically curates the latest research and maps key relationships into a knowledge graph using natural language processing and machine learning. The knowledge graph is then used to drive visualizations in restore79.
The model is currently being used to map the latest research on DMD, BMD, aging, and exercise. We break down the research, though visualizations, into two main categoreis: dystrophin restoration and muscle remodeling.
Fundraising
In addition to disemminating the latest dysrophinopathy research, we are also focused on raising funds for DMD and BMD research.
